                                            IFRA UK Scent Heritage

                                     Scents of Time & Place — June 25th 2025

Event overview
Hosted by the International Fragrance Association UK, this one-day event explored the UK’s rich olfactory heritage and its vital role in connecting culture, place, and memory.  We explored the history - and future - of scent in UK and the growing importance of intangible heritage in all our lives.
It was created in partnership with the team behind the Odeuropa project, which has mapped Europe’s intangible scent heritage.
As well as showcasing how scent is an essential part of our lives, the aim was to foster a conversation between those working in cultural institutions, academia and the perfume industry, to explore the opportunities that exist for collaboration.
